Emmanuel Agbesa, 45, adjudged the best farmer in the South-Tongu District

Emmanuel Agbesa, 45, from Adidokpe was adjudged the best all-round farmer in the South-Tongu District during the Farmer’s Day Celebration at Adutor on Friday.

He got for his prize, a motorbike, pair of boots, spraying machine and five cutlasses.

Each of the fifteen other winners in the various categories got a bicycle, spraying machine, pair of boots and cutlasses.

Mr Daniel Amelorku, South-Tongu District Chief Executive (DCE), told the Ghana News Agency that government’s efforts to expand agricultural production in the area was being hampered by land litigation.
