Embassy of Ghana Washington DC Opens Book of Condolences for Baah-Wiredu

Washington DC, — In line with our tradition and to give Ghanaians and friends of Ghana the opportinity to express their condolence to a Great Finance Minister:Late Hon. Kwadwo Baah-Wiredu, the Embassy of Ghana, Washington DC opens a book of condolences at the Chancery.

It is almost one week when Ghanaians heard the sudden death of its Finance Minister; Hon. Kwadwo Baah-Wiredu. Ghanaians around the world and friends of Ghana who knew him are deeply in mourning over passing of a man dubbed the finest Minister, dedicated and hard working in President Kufuor’s government. Many are still in shock and lost for words wondering how can this happen suddenly.

In observing the one week of his passing; The Embassy of Ghana in Washington DC opens a book of condolences at the Chancery on Wednesday; Oct. 1, 2008. 3512 International Drive NW Washington DC 20008.

All are invited to sign the book of condolences.
