Ellembelle MP donates GHc700 to charity

In a bid to cater for the needy and less-privileged in society, the Member of Parliament(MP) for Ellembelle, Mr.Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, has a cash donation of GH¢500 and some used clothing to the Christian Orphange Home at Awiebo in the Ellembelle District.

The MP made the donation when he joined the Christian Community Church, an affiliate to the orphanage to pledge his avowed monthly commitment towards the upkeep of the orphanage.

Mr Buah who doubles as the Deputy Minister for Energy, said his outfit would liaise with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to come to the aid of the orphanage.

He reminded the church to be committed to its pioneering role of providing both spiritual and material healing to the sick, the disabled and under-privileged in society.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ellembelle, Mr.Daniel Eshun also donated GH¢100 to assist the home, and pledged the Assembly’s monthly support towards the growth of the home.

The Pastor in charge of the church and founder of the home, Mr.Paul Mukey, expressed gratitude to Mr.Buah and the Assembly for their humanitarian gesture.

He said the works of Mr. Buah amply testified that, he was all out to serve the people and asked the church and people in the area to continue to pray for him to continue with his proven leadership skills.

In another development, Mr. Buah also donated GH¢200 to the Ebenezer Methodist Church at Awiebo at the climax of a-three-day youth programme, where he advised the youth to study hard and take the future into their own hands.

The Minister in charge of the Youth Fellowship, Mr. Philip Dodo urged the youth to be ready to make a difference in life in all circumstances.**
