Ellembelle crys for teachers

The Ellembelle District Director for Education, Mrs. Caroline Dinah Gyimah, has appealed to the Ghana Education Service to as a matter of urgency post more teachers to the area.

She said the lack of adequate number of teachers was affecting teaching and learning in the district.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Nkroful, Mrs. Gyimah lamented that only 3 trained teachers were posted to the district last year, and this year 14 were posted there.

She appealed to teachers to accept postings to the area since it was fast developing.

Mrs Gyimah asked teachers to serve as role models for school children and help train them (school children) to acquire skills and knowledge to enable them to contribute to national development.**
