Ellembelle accepts Eshun as DCE.

Ellembelle (W/R), May 8, GNA – Mr Daniel Kerma-Betu Eshun has been confirmed by the district assembly as the District Chief Executive for Ellembelle, polling 37 votes out of 41.

Mr Eshun said in an acceptance speech that his administration would be transparent and accountable and urged the assembly to corporate in promoting unity, peace and tranquillity in the district. He said education, health and promoting of Information Communication Technology (ICT) would be his priority and that he would open a website to promote the district.

The Deputy Minister of Energy and MP for Ellembelle, Mr. Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah, said they would not focus on politics but on developmental issues and projects for a sustainable development and growth of the district.

Mr Dominic Kwesi Yenzu was elected the Presiding Member. 08 May 09
