Electrification project for five communities inaugurated

Bonso(ER), Aug. 28, GNA – Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South on Monday inaugurated electrification projects in five communities within his constituency. The GH=A2 8,000 (800 million cedis) projects were provided at Akyem Akwadum, Okanta-Aboss, Bonso, Asikam and Akooko.

He assured the people of government’s commitment to improve their living standards and urged them to support its policies and programmes. Nana Akufo-Addo assured other communities that there were plans to connect them to the national grid soon. He noted that government had kept faith with the people since assumption of power and advised them not to be deceived by negative propaganda by opponents of the government for their mandate in the next general elections.

Nana Akufo-Addo appealed to the people for their support to win the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearership on December 22. The chiefs and people expressed their appreciation to government for providing them with electricity to facilitate the establishment of cottage industries.
