Electrical contractors to acquire skills in digital machines

Nana Addo Tetebo, the Eastern Regional Chairman of the Ghana Electrical Contractors Association (GECA), has said the Association will organize training programme on digital installations for the members.

Speaking at the meeting of the Association in Koforidua, Nana Tetebo appealed to government to consider the granting of some reliefs on imported equipments and materials for electrical contracts.

The National First Trustee of GECA, Mr Isaac Appiah Bediako advised members to pay their dues to enable the Association to fulfill its mandates.

He said it is the intension of the Association to provide uniforms and identity cards to members to help restrict the activities of bad nuts within the Association.

Mr Bediako urged the Association to create more branches in the region to help make it easy for more electricians in the districts to join the association.
