Electorate asked to vote CPP into power Suhum (E/R)

The CPP parliamentary candidate for Ayensuano, Mr Samuel Nartey, has called on the people to vote massively for the party in the December election for a better standard of living.

He promised to ensure the creation of district for the area, which has 296 villages with its headquarters at Coaltar, near Nsawam.

Mr Nartey was addressing a farmers rally at Acheasa, near Suhum on Saturday. He asked them to reject the NDC adding that the people in the area have not seen any substantial development since the days of the PNDC.

The Constituency Secretary, Mr J. W. Asante, said mineral deposits and forest resources the area have not been exploited because poor planning. He said a government of the CPP would revive the cocoa project in the area abandoned in the PNDC era to create jobs for the youth
