Elections Was Free And Fair – Teye Nyaunu

Outspoken National Democratic Congress MP for Lower Manya Krobo, Michael Teye Nyaunu, who lost his bid to return to parliament next month has described last Friday’s elections as peaceful, free and fair.

He says although he lost the elections, he believed in the credibility of the process.

Mr. Nyaunu who lost the NDC primaries but contested the Lower Manya Krobo seat as an independent Candidate said the election was won by the NDC due to the personality of President Mahama and the sympathy towards the death of President Mills.

Mr. Nyaunu has also told XYZ News, he is willing to serve in President Mahama’s next government if given the opportunity but reminded the President that he has a lot to do to unite the party.
