Election 2016: Akufo-Addo plays cards for votes

The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party Nana Akufo-Addo was on Monday May 16 spotted playing cards with residents of La Dadekotopon in the Greater Accra region as part of his campaign tour.

Akufo-Addo is touring some constituencies in the region ahead of the party’s campaign launch. His visit to La Dadekotopon took him to vicinities such as ‘Mandela’ and ‘Agyeman’.

Addressing the constituents, the former attorney general said he will work to improve the living condition of Ghanaians, if elected in the November polls.

“I will work to create the hundreds of thousands of jobs required by the teeming masses of Ghanaian youth, and also return the country back onto the path of progress and prosperity,” he said.

Ghana goes to the polls on November 7 to elect a president and parliamentarians.

Akufo-Addo will once again face off with his political rival and leader of the National Democratic Congress President John Mahama.
