Election 2012: NDC, NPP to hold gargantuan rallies today

The two main political parties will today hold major rallies in the Greater Accra region in a bid to sway some undecided voters to their side.

The National Democratic Congress will hold its national rally at the Trade Fair site at 12:00 pm in Accra.

The rally will be addressed by the big wigs of the party including, the National Chairman Kwabena Adjei, General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketia, President Mahama and all the Parliamentary candidates in the Greater Accra region.

The rally will mark the end of the party’s campaign across the nation towards Friday’s elections.

Greater Accra regional Chairman of the party, Ade Coker in an interview with XYZ News said the rally will pull a historic gathering of NDC members and supporters.

Meanwhile, the New Patriotic Party will also hold its final national rally at the Efua Sutherland Park in Accra ahead of Friday’s election.

The campaign will be addressed by the flagbearer of the NPP, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, ex President John Agyekum Kufuor, National Chairman Jake Obetsebi Lamptey and other big wigs of the NPP.

Today Wednesday December 5, Per the law regulating this year’s elections, is the last day for political activities.
