Ekubanco Herbal Clinic launches new products

Accra, May 19, GNA – Mr Ben Kofi Ekuban, Chief Executive Officer of Ekubanco Herbal Clinic, on Wednesday called on the government to support traditional herbal medicine.

He said this would help the nation to save and earn more foreign exchange from the export of herbal products. Mr Ekuban, who was speaking at the launch of Ekubanco Herbal Products at Madina in Accra, said the support would also promote Ghanaian herbal medicine and enhance tourism. Some of the products, which are mainly food supplements, are Ekubanco Health Booster, Ekubanco Dandelion, Ekubanco Cinnamon, Ekubanco Immune Booster and Ekubanco Prostate, Ekubanco Cancer Care and Ekubanco Garden of Eden.

Mr Ekuban said the clinic, which started five months ago, treated Hepatitis ‘B’, kidney stone, gall stone, urine retention, stroke, asthma, piles, infertility and internal organ disorders. He said the clinic would soon go into the production of purified water for the preparation of its products and for consumption. Mr Ekuban expressed the hope that the new products would help the people to find solutions to their health problems. Dr Seth Nana Nimako, Medical Director of the Clinic, advised herbal practitioners to operate in clean and hygienic environments and adopt scientific methods of preserving their products. 19 May 10
