Ejisu-Juaben District Education Directorate refutes allegation

Ejisu (Ash), Oct.12, GNA – The Ejisu-Juaben District Directorate of Education has refuted an allegation that five teachers in the district were seeking transfers because they were being taunted with the Yefri Tuobodom song.

A statement issued on Tuesday by the Directorate and signed by Mr P.N. Gyamfi, the Public Relations Officer at Ejisu in reaction to a publication in the Ghanaian Times of last Friday, October 7, under the headline “Tuobodom Creates More Havoc” expressed shock at the publication.

It said no complaint had been brought to the attention of the Directorate. The statement said no teacher in the district had applied for release to the Brong Ahafo region. 12 Oct.05
