Eight paramount chiefs say ”Thank You” to the President

Kadjebi, May 19, GNA – The Paramount chiefs of the eight traditional areas in the Kadjebi District has lauded President John Agyekum Kufuor for re-nominating Mr Kofi Adjei-Ntim as the Chief Executive of the District.

A statement the eight paramount chiefs signed and read by Nana Obornie Sepewie VI, Paramount Chief of Dodo Traditional Area, emphasized the government’s admiration for hard work and the manifestation of listening to the desire of the people and not ”hear say” or views of disgruntled minority elements of the populace.

It said the nomination of Mr Adjei-Ntim would deepen unity, peace and development and the continuation of Chapter Two of Positive Change to allow for prompt completion of development projects initiated by the government.

The statement said the spontaneous joy, support and positive responses that followed the re-nomination were clear testimonies that President Kufuor had touched the hearts of the people.

“We Nananom and the people of Kadjebi who fought for the creation of Kadjebi District humbly pledged our unflinching support to the District Chief Executive and his development efforts and wish him a God-guided second term in office”.
