Mr. Alhassan, who gave the advice at the election of Chairmen for eight area councils within the Bawku Municipality, said their roles were to seek the people’s views to move the community forward.

They were Mr Adam Zibrim, Bawku Zonal Council, Mr S.K. Salifu, Mognori, Mr Haruna Sumaila, Pusiga, and Mr Wahabu Mahamadu, Kulungungu. The rest were Mr Ibrahim Alale, Widana, Mr Lawrence Anani, Bazua, Mr Stephen Mbawini, Zawse and Mr Joseph Akparibo, Binduri.
