EGLE Party Rumpus Over

The rumpus which erupted in the EGLE Party last week over the legality of the chairmanship of Mr Danny Ofori Atta has been resolved. In an emergency meeting held at the party?s offices last Friday, Mr Jacob Letsu, the vice chairman of the party apologised to the chairman.

Mr Ofori Atta for challenging his chairmanship and said it was due to a breakdown in communication between the two. It would be recalled that a few weeks ago, the EGLE Party held its congress and

Mr. Danny Ofori Atta was unanimously elected the chairman of the party. However, last week, Mr Jacob Letsu who was the acting chairman issued a press statement challenging Mr Ofori Atta?s position. Present at the meeting were the executive members of the party including Alhaji Alhassan Benneh.
