Winneba (C/R), May 5, GNA – The Effutu Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Monday commended President John Evans Atta Mills for nominating Nii Ephraim as Municipal Chief Executive for the Effutu Municipality. This was contained in a press release signed by the Constituency Chairman, Mr Kojo Asmah Bondzie to the Ghana News Agency in Winneba.
“On behalf of the constituency executives, all the branch executives, the opinion leader and the entire rank and file of the NDC wish to express our whole-hearted appreciation to President Atta Mills for the honour done us in the Effutu municipality, and for listening to call on the nomination of the MCE”. We also say a big thank you for nominating Nii Ephraim as the Municipal Chief Executive for the Effutu Municipality, the release said.
“Sir, with his nomination, and being the desire of the people on the ground, we say Ayekoo, and we know with our support, he would be approved by the assembly”. The members expressed the hope that Nii Ephraim would perform creditable to justify the reason for proposing him and why the party preferred him. We are using this medium to declare our unflinching support to you and your government, the release said.
