Effutu electorate assured of more development under NDC government

Winneba (C/R), Oct. 22, GNA – Mr Mike Hammah, NDC Parliamentary Candidate for the Effutu Constituency in the Central Region, has assured his constituents that he will do more than he did previously to improve their living conditions when he is returned into power. He reminded the electorate that during the NDC era when he was the Member of Parliament for the area, the area witnessed a significant transformation in the form of developmental projects that improved the lives of the people. Mr Hammah said this when he addressed an NDC rally at Essuekyir, a suburb of Winneba. He said it was during the NDC regime that potable water and electricity were made available to the people of the constituency. He urged the electorate to check the records to see whether the NPP had added something new to improve their living conditions. Mr Hammah said when voted into power, his priority will be a fishing harbour to improve the livelihood of the fisher folks in his constituency.

He said he also has plans to construct a big market place around the Winneba junction, that would have a specific market day to attract people from far and near to transact business. Mr Hammah assured the electorate in his constituency that employment opportunities will abound in Winneba if he and Professor Atta Mills were voted into power. He appealed to the electorate to jealously guard their voter’s I.D. cards and not allow anybody to buy them.
