Effutu Assembly and NADMO donates to refugees

Winneba, April 14, GNA – The Effutu Municipal Assembly, in collaboration with the Municipal National disaster Management Organization (NADMO), have presented items valued at over GH¢3,000 to 85 refugees from Cote d’Ivoire. The number was made up of 50 citizens of the area and 35 Ivoirians who accompanied them. The items include poly mats, plastic cups, blankets, soap, buckets, basins, materials and clothing. Making the presentation Mr Kofi Kussachin, the Municipal Co-ordinating Director, said the Assembly was arranging with doctors to screen them and treat those with ailments. The 35 Ivoirians are staying with the Ghanaians they came with.
