Effah-Dartey donates books to Half-Assini Secondary School

Half-Assini (W/R), June 6, GNA – Captain Nkrabea Effah-Dartey (Rtd), deputy Minister for Local Government and Rural Development has presented books estimated at 40 million cedis to the Half-Assini Secondary School in the Jomoro district.

Presenting the books, Captain Effah-Dartey asked school authorities to enforce discipline among students, because it was the only way to make them responsible adults in the future.

He advised tutors to lead exemplary lives and avoid habits that could negatively affect the image of the teaching profession. Students should also take their lessons more seriously, he urged. Mr Mawuli Bekui, headmaster of the school received the books and thanked the deputy Minister for the gesture.
