Edwin Gyimah debuts in Swedish second-tier for Helsingborg

Versatile Edwin Gyimah played his first leg match for Helsingborg on Saturday on the opening weekend when they beat Trelleborgs FF 1-0 in the second-tier.

The Ghana international starred in the midfield role and lasted the entire duration for the Reds at home.

Gyimah joined the Swedish Superettan side on a free transfer after leaving South African side Orlando Pirates.

Helsingborg is the first European club for Gyimah who has spent the last four years of his career in South Africa playing for SuperSport United and Mpumalanga Black Aces.
