Edumadze Tearing NPP Apart

According to the EVENING NEWS, the power struggle between the Central Regional Minister, Mr. Isaac Edumadze, and the regional Chairman of the NPP, Dr. Kweku Nunoo Ghartey, is gradually tearing the party apart in the region.

This is affecting the organization of the party as well as its image and if the party’s hierarchy fails to act swiftly, it will greatly hamper the party’s chances of winning the 17 constituency seats in the Central Region.

These sentiments were expressed in a statement issued and signed by the first Vice-Chairman of the Central Regional Executives of NPP, Mr. Smith Danquah.

He called on President Kufuor to probe the activities of the Regional Minister since “he is becoming a torn in the fresh of the constituencies of the region.”
