EC’s director of elections denies bribery allegation

One of the Electoral Commission (EC) officials charged with bribery and corruption has flatly denied the allegation.

Mr. Kofi Asumani and Asante Kissi, both directors at the EC were arrested Monday for allegedly engaging in a GH¢1,600 bribery with the New Vision Party (NVP).

Mr. Kofi Asumani, however, tells Joy News he is in a meeting with his lawyers with the aim of redeeming his image, which has been dented by the bribery allegations.
