Tema, Jan 23, GNA — Ecobank (The Pan African Bank), on Monday presented a cheque for GHC16,629 to the Tema General Hospital (TGH) towards the renovation and rehabilitation of its Out-Patient Department (OPD).
Mrs. Ama Serwa Kwakwa, Senior Relationship Manager of the Bank, in charge of Public Sector, who presented the cheque on behalf of Management, said it was in response to a request made by the Hospital authorities some time ago.
Dr Charity Sarpong, Medical Director of the Hospital, received the cheque and thanked the bank for the gesture.
She said the renovation of the OPD would go a long way to strengthen community health care at the Hospital.
