The solar eclipse witnessed by the country yesterday is a good omen for the nation, President J.A. Kufuor said.
?The natural phenomenon shows signs of greater prosperity and growth, especially as the nation prepares to celebrate its Golden Jubilee next March,? he stated.
President Kufuor said this shortly after viewing the eclipse of the sun at his residence in Accra yesterday.
He said the event not only showed the beauty and wonder of nature but also called for greater attention to the promotion of science and technology.
