Accra, May 14, GNA – The Electoral Commission (EC) on Friday appealed to registered voters in the Volta Region to take note of the date of taking their voters registration photographs.
The EC said the photographs would be taken from Tuesday, May 18, to Sunday May 23 of all those who registered in the recent Voter Registration Exercise in the Volta Region. “All persons who have contrary dates on their registration receipt slips should ignore them and take advantage of the presence of the photographic teams in the region to take their photographs for the completion of the registration exercise,” the Commission said in a statement.
It apologized to all persons in the Volta Region who have been affected by the unfortunate mix-up in the dates.
