The Electoral Commission (EC) has released the final list of 28,992 polling stations across the country for the December 7 general elections.
According to the list, the Ashanti Region tops with 5,190, polling stations followed by the Greater Accra Region which has 4,762 with the Upper West Region having the lowest with 991 polling stations.
The EC made this known during an Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting with political parties on Friday.
The Electoral Management has said it will demonstrate its own results transmission system which has been piloted prior to the crucial polls which is expected to be keenly contested between the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the largest opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
