EC organizes workshop for supervisors

The Electoral Commission (EC) is organizing a 11-day workshop for about 750 officials within the La-Nkwantanang-Madina Municipality who would be supervising the various polling stations during the impending District Assembly Elections.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Mr. Anthony Ayidey, a Returning Officer In-charge of the training at the La-Nkwantanang Cluster of Schools in Madina, said the personnel under training include presiding, verification, name reference list, and ballot Issuing officers.

Mr Ayidey said the training exercises which began on Tuesday, August 18, would end on Friday August 28.

He advised the participants to take the exercise seriously to ensure a successful election.
