Eastern Regional Police Commander tours Akwapim South District

Deputy Commissioner E. B. Ansong, Eastern Regional Police Commander, has called on personnel of the service to redouble their efforts at combating crime in the country.

Deputy Commissioner Ansong, who was interacting with personnel drawn from Nsawam, Coaltar, Adeiso, Pakro and Obodan as part of his familiarisation tour of his command, directed that four patrol teams should be formed to combat crime in the area.

He commended the personnel for their dedication to duty in spite of the limited resources they had to work with.

Mr Ansong later visited Blue Skies Farm, Koranco Farms and Ahuntem Farms.

Supt. Otchere Boapea, Police Commander in charge of Nsawam, pledged that his men were ready to fight crime in the area.

Supt. Boapea appealed for another Police car to be used to send prisoners to court and to the Nsawam Prisons.
