Dr George Akuffo Dampare, the Commissioner of Police in-charge of the Police Visibility Unit, said this when he inaugurated the new Suhum Police District Headquarters and the upgraded Nankese Police Station, which was upgraded from a police post.

Under the Police Visibility Programme, the Police on daily basis deploy 5,000 personnel all in efforts to get the Police closer to the people and help reduce crime.

He said the Police Administration was making adequate preparation that would ensure peaceful campaigns and elections in 2016, and urged the public to help the Police to achieve that.
