Easter is to remind Christians of the saving power of Christ -Elder

Sekondi, April 4, GNA – Elder Osmond Imbeah, Presiding Elder of the Sekondi Zone of the Church of Pentecost, on Sunday said Easter is to remind Christians and non-Christians of the saving power of Christ that would enable them to enter into the Kingdom of God.

He was speaking at an Easter Convention organized by the Church under the theme “Knowing Christ and the Power of His Resurrection” at Sekondi. Elder Imbeah said during Easter, Christians should remind themselves of such great salvation that they have had, and appreciate the continual saving power of Christ.

He said they should preach to unbelievers that Christ died for everybody and Christ has power to transform everybody who believes in him. Elder Imbeah said, “If we do good works and do not have Christ we would not enter into the Kingdom of God”.

He said Christians are agents and ambassadors of Christ and should present the salvation that Christ brought into the world to all nations.
