East Akyem Assembly supports Kukurantumi Islamic Community School

Akim Kukurantumi, Nov 9, GNA – The East Akyem Municipal Assembly on Tuesday presented five packets of roofing sheets to the Islamic Community School at Kukurantumi to re-roof their three-unit classroom block, ripped by a rainstorm a few months ago. Mr Yusif Omar, a member of Council of Imams, received the items on behalf of the community.

He appealed to the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) to provide them with lumber for the re-roofing of the block. In another development, the assembly provided an eight-seater KVIP for the school.

Mr Yusif Omar commended the assembly for the gesture and appealed for the provision of library and sporting materials for the school. 09 Nov. 10
