E.P. Church Women’s Week Celebration

Kpando, July 13, GNA – The Kpando Kpodzi and Aziavi Women’s Fellowship of the E.P. Church have presented food items, toiletries and used clothing worth five million cedis to patients of Margaret Marquart Catholic Hospital at Kpando. The presentation formed part of activities marking this year’s National Women’s Week Celebration of the Church. The national celebration, which has the theme “Being Representatives of Christ; that all may Have Life in Fullness”, is aimed at raising funds to help the poor and the needy in the society.

Presenting the items Mrs Elisabeth Nyomi-Nyamadi, the local President of the Fellowship, said their visit was to show their care and concern for the patients. Rev Moses Faith Nyomi-Nyamadi, the Parish Pastor, commended the women and appealed to other societies in the church to follow the Fellowship’s example. Augusta Boateng, a Senior Nursing Officer of the hospital, thanked the women for their love and concern.
