Dzifa Attivor was sacked by Mahama, she never resigned – Allotey Jacobs

The Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress Mr. Allotey Jacobs has revealed that former Minister for Transportation Madam Dzifa Attivor did not resign contrary to earlier communications which suggested that she resigned based on principle.

Speaking to Accra based Peace FM, Mr. Allotey Jacobs noted that embattled minister was shown the exit under the disguise of resignation.

The then Government’s decision to spend a whopping GHC 3.6 million on re-branding of 116 buses angered many Ghanaians, with the majority questioning how that outrageous expenditure could be approved under the watch of the President

Then Transport Minister, Mrs Dzifa Attivor had to resign over the controversial branding of the busses for Metro Mass Bus Transit limited.

However contrary to the earlier accessions that the Hon. Minister had to resign, the Central Regional Chairman of the NDC said the ex-minister was rather shown the exit by former President Mahama.
