DWM presents teaching materials to centre

New Edubiase (Ash), April 18, GNA – The 31st December Women’s Movement (DWM) has presented teaching and learning materials valued more than 15 million cedis to its Day-Care Centre at New Edubiase in the Adansi South district.

The items included tables, chairs, plastic cups, toys and picture books.

Hajia Hadjo Abdul Wahab, Ashanti Regional Organiser of the Movement, who presented the items on behalf of the DWM, said the presentation showed the Movement’s commitment to the development of children’s education.

Mr Ernest Kofi Yakah, Member of Parliament (MP) for New Edubiase, said he would mobilize resources to improve facilities at the Centre. He advised the teachers and attendants of the Centre to take adequate care and attention of the children who are the future leaders of the country.

Madam Rhoda Mercy Opoku, warden, urged parents to invest in the education of their children.
