Dwenase School invest one billion cedis in infrastructure

Osino (E/R), Aug 1, GNA – The Rapid International School at Dwenase, near Osino in the Eastern Region has earmarked one billion cedis for the construction of facilities for expansion at the school. These include a block of six classrooms and six dormitories at a cost of 700 million cedis.

Mr Charles Addo, Managing Proprietor of the school, said a girls’ dormitory and another two self-contained bungalows estimated at 300 million cedis is under construction.

The school has also built a five million-cedi “summer hut” for parents who visit their children.

The Proprietor said the school administration was funding the project.

He appealed to the government to assist private schools with soft loans to enable them to contribute to education.
