Dust is killing us; tar our road – Zongo Chief to Mahama

The Chief of Agona Zongo in the Sekyere South District of the Ashanti Region, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed, has appealed to President John Dramani Mahama through his Chief Staff to immediately come to aid because they are dying of dust.

The Zongo Chief wants the President to assist the community by tarring their only access road that links the main street to ease transportation.

He also wants the President to construct an English-Arabic Junior High School for the community.

This, he noted, will help raise the standard of education in the area also cut down cost of parents who send their wards to schools in far away places.

“I will plead that once the Chief of Staff is here, he should tell the President that we are dying of dust. So, as a matter of urgency, he should come and tar our road for us if indeed we are part of the country. We also want him to build an English-Arabic JHS for us in second term in office,” he noted.

The Zongo Chief made these demands when the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah called on him at his palace on Thursday, November 17, 2016.

Mr. Debrah is on a five-day to of the Ashanti Region.
