Agona-Nkwanta, (W/R) September 29, GNA – Papa Duku Quarshie, Convention People’s Party (CPP) Parliamentary candidate for Ahanta West, on Wednesday said the Party was capable of solving problems affecting the constituency.

He was addressing the constituency delegates’ conference after his election by popular acclamation as the Party’s Parliamentary Candidate for Election 2004 at Agona-Nkwanta.

Papa Quarshie, 45, former tutor of Takoradi Polytechnic and Sekondi College, said problems facing the constituency included lack of potable water, good roads and toilet facilities.

He said when elected, he would concentrate on the development of the area and ensure that the Government released funds for implementation of projects to solve the problems.

They should also organise political campaigns peacefully to enable the Party to win more seats this year, he said.
