The Leader of Fresh Anointing Ministry at Akyem Dwenase in the Fanteakwa District of the Eastern region, Prophet Samuel Okai has been arrested by the Anyinam police command for stealing mobile phones.
The drunk prophet was arrested at Owura’s phone shop after stealing two phones on monday afternoon.
The shop owner, Mr. Frimpong speaking to Bryt fm reporter, said the suspect went to the shop to do window shopping but was later seen stealing the phones.
“He came here drunk to do window shopping but the attendant caught him in the act stealing the phones” he indicated.
The suspect, Prophet Samuel Okai who admitted of stealing the phones said it was the work of the devil while he also attributed his drunkness to a concortion he has taken to heal his ailment.
Meanwhile, he is now in police custody awaiting trial.
