Driver remanded for stealing

Tema, Aug.30, GNA- A driver who broke into the rooms of two persons at Labanon, a suburb at Ashaiman, and stole radio cassette recorder has been remanded by the Tema circuit court ‘B’.

Charles Tetteh pleaded not guilty and will re-appear on September 9, this year.

Police Inspector Ben Agbedanu, told the court that on August 18 this year, the two workers residing at Labanon near Ashaiman left for work.

Inspector Agbedanu said the accused person used a pinch bar forced one of the doors opened, and stole a radio cassette recorder valued at 70,000 cedis.

The prosecution said the accused again broke into another room and stole a solar camera.

The prosecution concluded that luck was not on the side of the accused person because in an attempt to break into a third room, people nearby arrested him and sent him to the police.
