Driver remanded for defilement

Cape Coast March 31, GNA- Mohammed Musah, a 21-year-old driver, who allegedly abducted and defiled a 14-year-old pupil was on Thursday remanded in prison custody by a circuit court in Cape Coast. Musah who pleaded not guilty would re-appear on April 20.

Prosecuting, Police Chief inspector Hope Azasoo, told the court presided over by Mr Beresford Acquah that the victim who left home unceremoniously was found in the room of the accused. He said the girl alleged that Musah lured her to his room and sexually abused her several times.

Chief Inspector Azasoo said the accused admitted the offence when the Police arrested him. The court ordered that the victim should go for pregnancy and HIV/AIDS test.
