Driver fined for picking passengers at unauthorised joint

A Sekondi Magistrate Court presided over by Mr. Yaw Opoku Acheampong has fined a trotro driver GH¢ 300.00 for picking passengers at an unauthorised place.

The Driver, Simon Barnes was convicted on his own plea and was fined accordingly or in default serve 30 days imprisonment.

Prosecuting, Chief Inspector Joseph Baidoo, of the Metro Guard Unit, told the court that the driver refused to respond to many warnings to desist from the act.

He was therefore apprehended on the account of creating congestion and distracting vehicular movement.
