Driver fined 600 cedis for killing four people

Solomon Kofi Amponsah, a driver, has been fined 600 Ghana cedis by a Tarkwa circuit court for driving without due care which led to the death four and injury to six people at Bonsa in the Tarkwa Nsueam constituency.

He pleaded guilty to all the eleven charges

Prosecuting Chief Inspector Edward Paddy told the court presided over by Mr. Samuel Obeng Diawuo that on September 9 the convict was driving a truck from Takoradi towards Awaso.

He said on reaching the Bonsa, Amponsah lost control, hit a store killing four people and injuring six.
