Driver convicted for various driving offences

Akim Oda (E/R), Dec. 16, GNA – Fredrick Zewu, a Metro Mass Transport bus driver, has been sentenced to a total fine of GHc540 by the Akim Oda Magistrate Court for failing to carry a driver’s license and fasten his seat belt The Court, presided over by Mr. Albert Owusu Annor, admitted Zewu to a 500 Ghana Cedis bail, to enable him to produce his license on December 19 or face trial. The convict pleaded guilty to three counts of causing road obstruction, causing danger to other road users and failing to fasten seat belt and was fined 120 Ghana Cedis, 300 Ghana Cedis and 120 Ghana Cedis respectively, to run consecutively.’
