Driver charged with stealing

Nkawie (Ash), Oct 26, GNA- The Nkawie circuit court has granted a 30-year-old driver, 30 million cedis bail with two sureties to be justified for stealing a saloon car. Kwame Adusa alias Sibiri, pleaded not guilty and will re-appear on November 15.

Police Chief Inspector Robert Yitamky told the court that Mr Bismark Boadu, the complainant, gave his Peugeot saloon car to Adusa to work with.

The prosecution said the accused allegedly planned to sell the car.

Chief Inspector Yitamky said Adusa drove the car to Sunyani for some days without the knowledge of the owner. The prosecution said the complainant on October 7, this year, found the vehicle in Sunyani without the engine and reported the matter to the police for the accused to be arrested.
