A leading member of NDC, Dr. Ekow Spio Gabrah, says the overwhelming endorsement of President John Dramani Mahama at the special delegates’ congress in Kumasi has put the party in a higher pedestal to win the upcoming elections.
He said the skeptics of the President who expected him to have won by 70 to 75 percent have been proved wrong.
Dr. Spio Gabrah said this in an interview with Radio Ghana. He spoke to Yahaya Kwamoah.
Dr. Spio Gabrah said the presence of former President Rawlings at the Congress has also proved the political opponents wrong and put President Mahama in a good light.
He said the pledge of President Mahama to work hard to bring everybody on board to prosecute the agenda of the party is a positive step to strengthen the bond of unity in the ‘umbrella’ family.
