Accra, Feb. 3, GNA – Dr. Richard Roberts, President of the Oral Roberts Ministries in the US, arrived in the country on Tuesday, to participate in a five-day Christian crusade, to be held in Accra. The crusade is on the theme: “Ghana for Christ.”
In a brief chat with journalists at the Kotoka International Airport, Dr. Roberts said the crusade was going to be a tool through which the power of God would be experienced by many. “The blind will see, the deaf will hear and the lame will walk,” he said.
Dr. Roberts said he was looking forward to a crusade that was going to turn the lives of several people around. Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, President of the World wide Miracle Out reach-UK, who was at the airport to welcome Dr. Roberts, said the theme for the crusade reflected the fact that Christ was central to everything in the country.
He urged Ghanaians to be God fearing, and endeavour to abide by the teachings o Christ. Dr. Roberts is expected to meet with President John Evans Atta Mills whilst in the country.
