The President and Chairman of Group Ndoum (GN) Dr. Papa Kwesi Ndoum has been enskinned Yenge Bor Naa (Crowd Gathering Chief) at Logu in the Wa East District of the Upper West Region.
The ceremony which took place at Logu is in recognition of his contribution to development in the area.
Group Ndoum has invested in various sectors in the Upper West Region with one of such investments being the Logu Branch of the GN Bank which was commissioned prior to his enskinment.
Speaking during the ceremony, Dr. Papa Kwesi Ndoum said, the tag of the region being the poorest in the country can be changed with concerted efforts.
According to him, the change will come if more is invested in developing the area.
He intimated that Group Ndoum is not in the region for nothing but to contribute to the development of the area, “we are not here for nothing. We are here to contribute our quota to the development of this region”, he observed.
He disclosed that plans are advanced to list Group Ndoum on the Ghana Stock Exchange.
“Very soon we will give you the opportunity to own our company. From next year, we will list on the Ghana Stock Exchange so that you can buy shares to be part owners of this group”.
Dr. Papa Kwesi Ndoum is in the Upper West Region to commission some branches of the GN Bank and a radio station in the area.
