Dr Bawumia, Chief Imam swear in Hajj Board today

The Vice President Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia together with the Chief Imam Sheikh Dr. Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu will swear in members of the Hajj Board on Thursday.

After the swearing in ceremony, the pair will proceed to inspect the new national mosque on the Kawukudi road, Accra.

The board members appointed by the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo include:
1. Sheikh I.C. Quaye – Chairman

2. Abdul Malik Adams Gariba – Member

3. Mr. Farouk Hamza – Member

4. Sheikh Amin Bonsu – Member

5. Alhaji Inusa Amadu – Member

6. Mr. Kamal-Deen Abdulai – Member

7. Ismaela Ibrahim – Member

8. Mohammadu Osmanu Alidu – Member

9. Mohammed Osumanu Yunusah – Member

10. Mr. Braimah Adams – Member

11. Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Mohammed – Member

Later in the evening, the King of Morocco will arrive in Ghana to have a discussion with the Vice President. His flight is expected to touch down at 5:30pm.
