Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has lauded the launch of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) ideological training hub, the Patriotic Institute, during a ceremony in Accra earlier today.
The event, which brought together party stalwarts, including former President John Agyekum Kufuor, was a celebration of the institute’s mission to educate party members on the NPP’s core principles and people-centered ideology.
In a Facebook post, Dr. Bawumia shared his enthusiasm for the initiative.
“The establishment of the Patriotic Institute is welcome news to the NPP fraternity, as it will afford patriots at all levels the opportunity to learn more about our party’s people-centered principles and ideologies, as we seek to serve our dear nation.”
The Patriotic Institute is expected to play a vital role in shaping the next generation of NPP leaders and reinforcing the party’s values of development, accountability, and nation-building.
Dr. Bawumia extended his congratulations to those who contributed to the project, emphasizing its importance in fostering a deeper understanding of the party’s vision.
The launch reflects the NPP’s broader commitment to nurturing informed and principled leadership within the party and beyond, as Ghana continues to navigate complex political and social challenges.
Political analysts see the Patriotic Institute as a strategic move to strengthen the NPP’s grassroots appeal while preparing its members to address the needs of the electorate effectively.
